Manufacturing Headhunters helps employers recruit manufacturing professionals. Choose the hiring route if you have an open role, a planned hire or a job description that needs a closer look. Choose the candidate route if you want us to keep your background in mind for relevant searches. The two routes ask different questions because they serve different decisions.
An opening form starts with the work. Tell us the role, plant location and whether the need is immediate or still being planned. A title alone does not explain who makes decisions, what equipment is on the floor or what the person must handle without support. Those are the questions we settle before starting candidate outreach.
You can paste a job description or upload it with your opening. We use it to understand the seat, not as permission to repost the vacancy. If the document mixes several jobs, we discuss what one person can reasonably own. Reporting lines, shift coverage and required credentials deserve a clear answer before a candidate agrees to speak.
A recruiting proposal is a different first ask. Use that form when your team needs to agree on the engagement before sending a final hiring brief. Explain what you want covered and who will approve the search. We discuss the scope and written terms. A request for a proposal does not start an exclusive search or create a fee.
Our default is permanent placement on contingency. There is no upfront fee, and you pay only if you hire a candidate we present under the agreed terms. The signed agreement defines the fee and other conditions. This contact page is not a substitute for that agreement, and it does not quote a percentage or promise a delivery date.
Phone is optional on the form. A working email address is required so we can respond to the request. If you would rather speak first, call the site number. When an opening is confidential, tell us what can be shared and with whom. We agree how to describe the opportunity before reaching into a close manufacturing market.
Manufacturing Headhunters recruits nationwide for local, relocation and traveling roles. A local hire depends on a workable commute and shift. A relocation hire needs a credible reason to move and a practical discussion about the destination. A traveling assignment needs clear requirements for time away. We do not treat those as interchangeable candidate pools.
If you are looking for a job, use the talent network instead of a client request. Tell us about the work you have done and the searches that might fit. Sending a profile does not promise an interview, a response or employment. Employers pay for recruiting; candidates are not asked to pay a recruiting fee to join the network.
After an employer request, we review the opening, contact you to discuss it and decide whether the search is a fit. We calibrate the role before presenting people. If we proceed, you see a focused short list with the reasons each person fits and the issues worth discussing. We do not substitute a stack of unqualified resumes for that conversation.
For a technical seat, the first discussion may cover controls, tooling, quality systems or maintenance responsibility. For a plant leader, it may cover decision authority and the operating problem behind the vacancy. Skilled roles also need an honest shift and commute discussion. The right detail is the detail that changes whom we should approach.
Use the hiring form even if the exact title does not appear in our index. Describe what the person must do and what would make the hire work. We recruit the skilled core of plants and shifts, not high-volume general labor. If a local staffing vendor is a better fit for the request, we will tell you.
Please avoid putting sensitive personal records into an opening or proposal. A useful brief describes the role, not private information about the incumbent. If more sensitive material is needed, agree the handling with us first. You can review our privacy policy before submitting, and you can ask us to correct information connected to your request.
The Six-Step Search
What do you get before interviewing?
1. Search CalibrationYou get a hiring brief that separates the work, reporting authority and non-negotiable requirements. We agree what would make a candidate worth an interview before contacting anyone. 2. Market MappingYou get a defined search pool, not a reposted vacancy.
1. Search Calibration
You get a hiring brief that separates the work, reporting authority and non-negotiable requirements. We agree what would make a candidate worth an interview before contacting anyone.
2. Market Mapping
You get a defined search pool, not a reposted vacancy. We identify the kinds of plants and teams where people already handle comparable equipment, processes and operating demands.
3. Professional Contact Intelligence
You get a way to reach working people directly. We check professional contact routes and approach candidates discreetly, without making your plant or vacancy public unless you approve.
4. Persistent Personalized Outreach
You get individual conversations about the actual opening. We explain the work, shift and location, ask whether a move makes sense, and follow up without pretending every person is interested.
5. Live Candidate Qualification
You get evidence of fit before spending interview time. We talk through decisions, equipment, results and reasons for moving, then distinguish direct experience from skills that would need support.
6. Candidate Intelligence and Process Support
You get a focused short list with the information behind it. We explain motivation, practical constraints and concerns, support interviews, and keep offer decisions with your hiring team.

What should you know before sending contact?
When do you pay a recruiting fee?
No upfront fee. You pay only if you hire. The signed recruiting agreement sets the fee basis and payment terms. Sending an opening does not itself commit you to a fee or an exclusive arrangement.
How long does it take to see a short list?
We discuss the search conditions before describing a realistic next step. Shift, location, equipment match and the candidate's reasons for moving all matter. We do not promise a shortlist date before understanding the opening.
How do you handle counteroffers?
We ask what is driving the move before introducing a candidate. We discuss what might change if the current employer offers more money or a different job. Your team still decides whether that person's motivation fits the opening.
What replacement terms apply?
We offer a candidate replacement guarantee on standard search agreements. The applicable period and exact terms are set out in the signed client recruiting agreement.
What do you not do?
We do not bill hourly for a standard permanent search, repost a job-board ad as a search, or supply high-volume general labor. Retainers are not the default. Any different arrangement must be agreed in writing.
