How much does a manufacturing recruiter cost?
A contingency fee pays for the agreed recruiting introduction and search work when it leads to a hire under those terms. It is not a charge for receiving a resume or submitting a form. Before approving the search, read what the agreement says about introductions, candidate ownership and the hiring event. If something is unclear, settle it before candidate outreach.
Sending an opening gives us a starting point for a conversation. It does not itself create an exclusive engagement, accept a quoted fee or authorize a different recruiting model. We review the role and decide with you whether the search fits. If we proceed, the agreement records what is being recruited and how the fee is handled.
When is the recruiting fee due?
For a standard permanent contingency search, the fee is due only when you hire under the signed agreement. The agreement defines the payment conditions and the applicable hiring event. We do not ask you to infer an invoice deadline from this page. Your team should know those conditions before choosing a candidate or changing the role.
If no candidate we present is hired under the agreed terms, you owe no contingency recruiting fee for that search. That is different from claiming every outside service works this way. Temporary staffing, RPO and retained search can have other arrangements. Compare the actual proposal and responsibility being offered, rather than using a single word such as agency to decide the fee model.
What replacement terms apply?
Discuss the agreement's replacement conditions before starting. This page does not add a guarantee length, imply a cash refund or promise coverage beyond the signed terms. A clear discussion matters if the role, manager, work location or schedule changes after hiring.
We offer a candidate replacement guarantee on standard search agreements. The applicable period and exact terms are set out in the signed client recruiting agreement.

What do we not charge for or provide?
We do not bill hourly for a standard permanent search. Retainers are not our default, and any different arrangement must be agreed in writing. We do not turn a job-board repost into a claim of direct headhunting. We identify relevant working people, speak with them about the opening and qualify the evidence your manager needs before an interview.
We do not supply high-volume general labor. We recruit the skilled core of plants, lines and shifts, including the people responsible for setup, maintenance, quality and leadership. If the request is better handled by a local staffing vendor, we tell you. A recruiting fee should pay for the service your team actually needs, not for an ill-fitting promise to cover every workforce request.
Contract, temp-to-perm and ramp-up recruiting can be discussed on request, with scope and terms set per engagement. This page does not say that Manufacturing Headhunters employs, pays or insures contract workers. Those responsibilities must be clear in the actual arrangement. Permanent placement on contingency remains the default first discussion for an individual hire.
What should you agree before a search starts?
Agree the role, plant location and decision authority. An opening that changes from a production manager to a full site general manager is a different search, even if someone keeps the old title on the document. Tell us what changed. The recruiting brief and written engagement should describe the work that your team is actually prepared to approve.
Agree how confidentiality and communication will work. We need to know which details can be discussed with candidates and who will interview them. Also agree how candidate introductions are recorded, especially if an internal recruiting team or another provider is involved. The goal is one clear hiring conversation, not competing messages that leave the candidate unsure who owns the process.
Ask about the candidate's motivation, counteroffer risk and practical requirements before an offer. A fee does not remove those decisions from your hiring team. We explain the qualification evidence and what still needs to be resolved. The employer decides whether the person fits, whether the opening solves the reason for moving and whether the agreed terms work.
If you want to review the broader models first, read How We Compare and the recruiting-model comparison. Those pages explain when staffing, internal recruiting or process outsourcing may be the better fit. If you have an individual manufacturing opening, send it to us. Ivan or a senior team member will reach out soon.
What else should you settle before starting?
Start with the decision described on this page and compare it with the work your plant needs. Use the linked definitions and process pages to settle unclear terms. If your opening has different responsibilities, discuss those before assuming that a familiar title or recruiting model answers the question.

Do you promise a short list by a fixed date?
No: We discuss the process, location, shift and evidence required before describing realistic next steps. A candidate's willingness to move cannot be assumed from a resume. We will not invent a delivery date to make an opening sound easier to fill.
